The Court may place the minor children in foster care, with relatives or with friends. The parents are given an opportunity to complete a case plan which addresses the Court's concerns. If the Court cannot reunify the family, custody may be awarded to relatives or friends. If custody is awarded to DFCS the child may be placed for adoption.
